I hope that you are all out enjoying making snowmen and igloos!!

To add a learning slant to our snowy experiences :-

This week we would have been concentrating on length and height, comparing and measuring with different items so when the children make a snowman they could compare heights, find things which are taller/smaller/thinner/wider etc.

Our sounds/blends this week are 'oo' and 'ee'. Also practise writing/reading our many keywords in our language eg 'the, was, he, she, we, went, to'. Perhaps the children could write a sentence about the snow using some of these words and illustrate.
